# GriffNode

> Non-custodial crypto payment gateway. Accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other cryptocurrencies on your website or app — without holding customer funds. You keep your wallet keys; customers pay directly to your addresses.

- GriffNode is an independent, non-custodial crypto payment gateway for merchants. Customer payments land directly in the merchant's own wallet (derived from the merchant's xPub) — GriffNode never holds, touches, or has access to merchant funds.
- No KYC required to start: because it is non-custodial, merchants do not undergo identity verification to begin accepting payments.
- Supported assets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Dash (DASH), and the ERC-20 stablecoins USDT, USDC, and DAI.
- Pricing is a flat monthly subscription. GriffNode takes NO percentage of sales and NO per-transaction fee — process $1,000 or $1,000,000 and the cost stays the same. Tiers: Starter (free forever), Business ($49/month), Professional ($129/month), and Enterprise (custom).
- No chargebacks: payments settle on-chain and are final.
- Confirmations: a payment is marked completed once it reaches the required number of on-chain confirmations. The default is 3 confirmations for every supported chain, and each merchant can configure their own value per wallet (1 to 100). The value in force is snapshotted when a payment is created, so changing it never affects in-flight payments.
- Typical settlement time at the default 3 confirmations, based on average block times: Bitcoin ~30 minutes (10 min/block), Litecoin ~7.5 minutes (2.5 min/block), Dash ~7.5 minutes (2.5 min/block), Dogecoin ~3 minutes (1 min/block), Ethereum and the ERC-20 stablecoins ~36 seconds (~12 sec/block). Funds arrive in the merchant's own wallet — there is no payout queue or withdrawal step, because GriffNode never holds the money.
- Availability: GriffNode is non-custodial and requires no KYC, so there is no country-by-country onboarding restriction — any merchant with a self-custody wallet can integrate. Merchants remain responsible for their own local tax and regulatory obligations.
